Vegan activist Tash Peterson slams radio hosts and anti-Tash Peterson protester in shocking interview with Pete and Kymba on 94.5

Listeners of Pete and Kymba’s Mix 94.5 breakfast show would have had their ears more than prick up on Wednesday morning, as controversial vegan activist Tash Peterson engaged in a shocking verbal stoush with radio hosts and the leader of an anti-Tash Peterson protest.

Ben D’Arcy — who resides in Sydney — is leading the protest slated for May 24, which plans to engage in a peaceful “barbecue cook-up” outside Peterson’s house.

Hosts asked D’Arcy why he was so hell-bent on taking it to Peterson, to which he responded: “She’s a pest, and most WA residents are sick of her… and I’m sick of her targeting people’s businesses. It’s not right, it’s not fair.”

The anti-Tash Peterson protester suggested he had “no issue with legal protests” but believes trying to close down butchers or restaurants with bloody tactics is “never going to change public opinion”.

Peterson was given a chance to rebut and revealed her hope for consumers and industries, “My goal is to reach consumers and make them aware of the animal slavery and holocaust industries, and choose the vegan option, “ she said.

“I hope one day the very businesses that I protest become vegan.”

Peterson told hosts that the planned protest “doesn’t bother me at all; in fact, I’m gonna disrupt their protest.”

“They think they’re giving me a taste of my own medicine,” she continued.

The notorious antagoniser said the planned protest was “doing the opposite of what I do” as they’d be “cooking the bodies of murder victims” — the very victims Peterson is speaking up for.

D’Arcy then invited Peterson to attend the event alongside protesters, which would offer “no vegan options” but insisted she “keep (her) clothes on as there’d be children around”.

The interview then took a turn for the worse, as the riled-up Peterson argued: “Do not cook the murdered bodies of victims outside my house; otherwise, expect me to disrupt the s**t out of it.”

Host Pete expressed his concern for Peterson’s safety if she continued her controversial tactics, telling her someone might snap and “neck ya” if she refused to cease her unlawful acts.

A teary Peterson responded, “Unfortunately, that’s something I’m willing to risk”, noting the atrocities she believed the public should wake up to.

She then called out the entire meat-eating population in a desperate plea: “If you’re not vegan, you’re responsible for this abuse and murder.”

To which host Pete responded, “I don’t believe the tears.”

“I don’t either,” said D’Arcy.

The vegetarian Kymba was sympathetic to Peterson’s cause but couldn’t keep one final comment from her off the airways.

“You feel f*cking guilty that you have blood on your f*cking hands,” an emotional Peterson cried.

Hosts were then quick to shut the pair down, telling them both to “go away”.

Prior to the interview, D’Arcy had confirmed there would be a police presence to ensure the event was held peacefully.

However, Peterson’s infamous and often illegal practices have frequently landed her in hot water.

On Christmas Day, she could be seen pouring fake blood on the display cabinet of a butcher shop in Belmont, and earlier last year made waves for storming the restaurant of celebrity chef John Mountain.
