Influencer Molly Mae and boxer Tommy Fury hold lavish first birthday party for Bambi

Influencer Molly Mae Hague and her boxer husband Tommy Fury might be among Britain’s most colourful celebrity couples, but you won’t see any of it at their daughter’s Bambi’s birthday party!

The couple have celebrated the milestone with a lavish get together at their northern English mansion with a striking white and beige theme — but not everyone’s impressed.

Bambi and her mother are seen wearing white outfits for the occasion, while the family’s white-decorated living room is filled with presents, all wrapped in brown paper.

Only a second cake — a house decorated with coloured lollies and a huge lollypop — added a splash of colour to the celebrations.

But while the colour scheme may be picture-perfect for Molly Mae’s Instagram page, some of her 7.9 million fans have had enough of her signature style.

“Why’s everything so boring tho? White white pristine white.. where’s the colour? Especially for a baby it doesn’t look like a birthday,” wrote one angry fan.

“This woman’s objection to colour should seriously be studied… it’s bizarre,” added another.

“Beautiful 💕 abit of colour in her life wouldn’t go amiss, babies and children need colour for so many reason xx,” wrote another follower.

“Beautiful but don’t you worry about the lack of colour in her life !?! Children are supposed to be stimulated,” chimed in another.

A few fans jumped to Molly Mae’s defence, hitting back at the mum-shaming comments.

“If you all want colour then have your own colourful birthday parties, why’re you all so mad?” one fan wrote.

“My one year old. Happy first Birthday to my little girl🤍…I love you more every single day. You’re so beyond special Bambi… I’m so proud to call you my daughter,” Molly Mae wrote.

The couple are used to copping criticism from their fans. Last year they came under fire for naming their daughter Bambi, which they announced with an Instagram post showing off their daughter’s all-white nursery.

The name is believed to be a nod to the Italian word “bambino”, meaning child.

Speaking on YouTube, Molly Mae said it had been her “dream” to use the name for her first daughter.

“I’ve had the name picked out since I was a baby girl myself. It’s always been a dream baby girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name I’ve always dreamt of using, he absolutely loved it too,” she said.

“It’s a really really unusual and a different name, I do not know anybody else with the name. I’ve not seen any other girls with the name before, it’s that different.”
