How Google is fixing the Bass slider issue in Pixel Buds A-Series
The company has announced that firmware update 3.415 is being rolled out and will soon be available to all Pixel Buds A-Series owners. Google has confirmed that users will receive this update within two weeks since its initial release.
As per the report, the Pixel Buds updates are expected to happen automatically and will be “transferred to your earbuds the next time you use them.” To install this update, users need to return the buds to the charging case for the installation process, which will likely take 10 minutes.
Google Pixel Buds A-Series users can also trigger this update manually once it becomes available for them. Users have to place the buds in the case and keep the lid open for the manual update installation process. Then, you have to go to the Pixel Buds app and select the ‘preferences’ menu. Here, you will find the ‘More settings’ option under which you will find the ‘Firmware update’. Here you can find the “Update available” button, click which will start the manual installation process.
Google’s message to users who reported the issue
The report mentions that Google has also issued a message for the troubled users who have pointed out this problem to the company. The message reads: “Thanks to all those who reported that they were experiencing toggle button issues with the EQ /bass slider feature where the bass effect continued to revert to the original.”
