However, Nordstrom’s flagship location on west 57^th street takes dining to a whole new level. The store boasts multiple dining options, several of which are open after hours. Nordstrom’s tasty offerings warrant a visit even if you are not in the shopping mood. Below is your guide to Nordstrom’s many food choices.

Wolf: In collaboration with chef Ethan Stowell, a James Beard Award nominee and one of Seattle’s most renowned restaurateurs, Wolf is a fun stop with Italian-inspired fare that also has a bit of a Pacific Northwest influence. This is the place to sample burrata with fava bean pesto or rigatoni with spicy sausage and marjoram. Salmon with artichokes and gremolata is a favorite and everyone loves the lemon zeppole for dessert.

Broadway Bar: This modern lounge overlooks Broadway and is the ideal place to meet for drink or a snack. Designed by Rafael de Cárdenas, this unique space has created an unexpectedly glamorous place to relax amidst the sales racks. The menu features chicken tacos and artichoke spinach dip, as well as a large selection of wines and specialty cocktails. Make sure you stop by for one of their happy hour specials.

Il Terrazzo by Nordstrom: Outdoor dining that is not at street level can be hard to find in New York City. Which is why this pop-up space is so welcome. Open through Labor Day, Il Terrazzo is an excellent place to lounge, join a game of bocce or indulge in an Aperol cocktail. In addition to a perfectly mixed drink, you can sample polenta fries, crispy calamari and Aperol sorbet.

Bistro Verde: Bistro Verde is Nordstrom’s flagship restaurant that you will find at many store locations. This family-friendly stop focuses on classic bistro fare, using the highest quality ingredients. Favorites include lobster bisque, a signature salad, a cheeseburger or halibut fish and chips. And if you just cannot get enough, you can order a meal to go. There are multi-course meals for two or an a la carte entrée that feeds four. These include spaghetti and meatballs or pan-seared chicken with spinach.

Jeannie’s: In collaboration with Seattle-based chef Tom Douglas, a James Beard Award winner, Jeannie’s menu features homemade pizza, (and offers cauliflower crusts), creative sandwiches and tasty salads. Guests love the shrimp scampi pizza, the lamb kofta sandwich and the kale or chef salad that can be topped with wild Pacific shrimp, roasted chicken or sockeye salmon. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, and this is another great place to fuel up during an afternoon of shopping.

Shoe Bar: Do you fantasize about having a glass of wine as you shop for shoes? The Shoe Bar comes close to creating that reality. Located right in the middle of the shoe floor, the Shoe Bar serves handcrafted cocktails and specialty coffees. You can also enjoy small bites such as chicken tacos with queso fresco or jumbo lump crab dip with a grilled baguette.

Nordstrom Burger Bar: This Burger Bar ups the ante on the classic burger experience with the excellent ingredients and a myriad of choices. This is the place to snag a hand-pressed burger made of beef, chicken, lamb, mushrooms, chickpeas or Beyond Meat. You can then choose your preparation (classic, with jerk spicy or Cajun seasoning, among others). Another tough decision: do you want sweet potato or truffle dusted fries? The perfect accompaniment is undoubtedly a hand-spun shake, but beer and wine are also available.
