  • Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea are all keeping tabs on Juventus’ Serbian striker
  • The Gunners are looking to bolster their attack following injury to Gabriel Jesus
  • Italian could be willing to sell if a club can match their £80million value of Serb

The agent of Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic has stated ‘not to rule anything out’ in regards to the striker moving away from the Italian club next month.

According to reports in Il Corriere Dello Sport, Vlahovic is a target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, and although a January move is unlikely, his agent has indicated it’s not impossible.

The Gunners are said to be most keen on the 22-year-old, as they look to bolster their attacking options after Gabriel Jesus injured his knee whilst playing for Brazil at the World Cup.

However, Chelsea and Manchester United, who are in need of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, are also monitoring the situation and could rival Arsenal in signing the Serbian star.

Ironically Vlahovic snubbed a potential move to Arsenal last January and instead moved to Juventus in a deal worth £62.4million from Fiorentina.

The striker has since hit 16 goals in 36 appearances for the Turin club and although it’s unlikely Juventus would be keen to sell him, they could be open to a deal if a bid came in that exceeded their £80million value.

Juventus were rocked by the resignation of their entire board last month, with the club under investigation from the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, who are looking into alleged false accounting and market manipulation.

Vlahovic represented Serbia at this past month’s World Cup and notched in their 3-2 defeat to Switzerland as they crashed out at the group stages of the tournament in Qatar.

The Serbian moved to Serie A from Partizan Belgrade in 2017 and made his breakthrough in the 2020-21 season, where he scored 21 goals for Fiorentina. He followed that up with another 20 goals in the first half of the following campaign, prompting Juventus to snap up the forward last January.

He is said to be focussed on getting back fit following a groin injury, and could resist the allure of the Premier League. However, Arsenal sporting director, Edu, is said to be weighing up a move for the forward.

Arsenal are set to be without Jesus for up to three months, leaving the Spanish boss with only Eddie Nketiah as the only recognised striker at the club.

The club have already been linked with moves for Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix and Ukraine star Mykhaylo Mudryk in a bid to keep up their title challenge.

The Gunners are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League, as they set to resume proceedings against West Ham on Boxing Day.
